The objects that are show in Enfold Desktop are based upon security,
because you are a Manager you are seeing everything. In normal cases if
you are logging as a user, you should not see the tools. Try logging in
as a Member without Manager rights and you'll see the difference.

This policy is defined by the CMF and is an easy coding fix if it's a
real issue.
