I feel that the default Title of a new file creation should be its filename.
That's the way it works when you drag and drop a new file into Desktop.
Could you quote me on how much it would cost to implement this?

What I do feel is possibly a bug is that editing the Title field, by right
clicking on properties in Desktop, doesn't change the Title on the Plone
site.

Also, how much is the auto-check in plug-in? Or is it available if you buy a
Desktop Licence?

Thanks a lot.
