[Community-desktop] Problem Migrating Site with Desktop

Hmmm. I briefly checked the Desktop documentation and couldn't find
anything on uninstalling the server component. Assuming you've looked
too, please post an issue on the Desktop collector to alert our product
support team that the documentation may need updating to address this
issue:

Hopefully they also can give you some advice via the collector so you
can start testing ED 4.

Chris,

This is all good news, especially the pricing. I think I can get my
organization to spring for this, finally. We just got in a small amount
of material support funds.

However, as it relates to my migration problem, this doesn't really get
me out of my quandry. Is there a way to uninstall ED 3 from production
(and is it advisable to uninstall from production) such that I can copy
and then migrate my website? My real problem is migrating a production
site that has ED 3 already installed.
